Purpose of the Job
Responsible for managing end-to-end Tool Room operations, ensuring timely availability, maintenance, and development of tools required for smooth production operations.
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day Tool Room operations and tooling requirements.
- Plan and coordinate tool development, repair, maintenance, and modification.
- Ensure timely availability of tools as per production requirements.
- Manage tool inventory, tool life, and proper storage.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams for tooling requirements.
- Identify opportunities for tool optimization, standardization, and cost reduction.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Preferred Background:
- Candidates with experience in Metal, Aluminium, Engineering, Heavy Engineering, or Manufacturing industries with strong exposure to Tool Room and tooling operations.
