Purpose of the Job
The Regional CSR role will be responsible for driving the planning, implementation, monitoring, and impact of CSR programmes across the assigned region. The role will work closely with internal teams, government authorities, NGOs, community stakeholders, and implementation partners to ensure effective execution of CSR initiatives aligned with the organization's vision, CSR objectives, and regional development priorities. The role will ensure that CSR programmes are well-planned, effectively implemented, measurable, and responsive to the needs of local communities.
Key Role and Responsibilities
- 1. Regional CSR Strategy & Planning
- • Support the development and execution of the regional CSR strategy and annual action plans.
- • Identify key social development needs and CSR opportunities within the assigned region.
- • Align regional CSR initiatives with organizational priorities and local development requirements.
- • Support identification of scalable and sustainable CSR programmes.
- 2. Programme Implementation
- • Lead and monitor implementation of CSR programmes across identified thematic areas such as Education, Health, Livelihoods, Women Empowerment, Environment, and Community Development.
- • Ensure programmes are implemented as per approved plans, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- • Coordinate with implementation partners and internal teams for smooth programme execution.
- • Identify operational challenges and recommend corrective actions.
- 3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact
- • Monitor programme progress, outcomes, and beneficiary coverage across the region.
- • Ensure timely collection and reporting of programme data and impact indicators.
- • Coordinate with monitoring and evaluation teams for baseline, midline, endline, and impact assessments.
- • Use programme data and field insights to improve effectiveness and outcomes.
- 4. Stakeholder & Government Engagement
- • Build and maintain relationships with government departments, local authorities, NGOs, community leaders, institutions, and other key stakeholders.
- • Coordinate with relevant government agencies for programme implementation and partnerships.
- • Represent the organization in regional CSR and social development forums when required.
- • Develop strong community-level relationships and ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
- 5. MIS & Reporting
- • Ensure timely and accurate regional CSR reporting and documentation.
- • Track programme performance, budgets, milestones, and key impact indicators.
- • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management.
- • Support development and utilization of MIS dashboards and management reports.
- 6. Team & Partner Management
- • Guide and coordinate regional CSR teams and implementation partners.
- • Monitor partner performance and ensure compliance with agreed deliverables.
- • Build capabilities of team members and promote accountability and performance excellence.
- • Facilitate coordination between regional teams and Head Office.
- 7. Community & Programme Development
- • Conduct field visits and engage with beneficiaries to understand ground-level requirements.
- • Identify emerging community needs and opportunities for new CSR interventions.
- • Capture best practices, success stories, and learnings from regional programmes.
- • Support replication and scaling of successful programme models.

- Qualifications & Experience
- Education
- • Master's Degree in Social Development, Development Studies, Rural Management, Public Policy, Social Work, Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
- • Additional certifications in CSR, programme management, impact assessment, or development studies would be an advantage.
- Experience
- • Relevant experience in CSR, social development, NGO/development sector, programme management, or community development.
- • Strong experience in managing CSR programmes and multiple stakeholders at a regional level.
- • Experience in government engagement, implementation partner management, monitoring, and impact assessment will be preferred.
- • Strong understanding of the CSR ecosystem, social development priorities, and regional community needs.
