IT Manager

Purpose of the Job

The role requires an experienced and result-oriented IT Manager to manage and maintain the company's overall IT infrastructure, network systems, security systems, SAP/ERP applications, and day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in CCTV, EPABX, LAN/WAN networking, biometric attendance systems, SAP/ERP, servers, and IT infrastructure management.

Key Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, storage systems, and internet connectivity.
• Ensure proper functioning of LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and minimize system downtime.
• Install, manage, monitor, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including NVR/DVR, IP cameras, and recording systems.
• Manage EPABX systems, telephone extensions, intercoms, and internal communication infrastructure.
• Maintain biometric attendance systems, access control devices, and employee authentication systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and AMC services.
• Manage and support SAP/ERP systems and related business applications.
• Coordinate with SAP/ERP vendors and consultants for system issues, updates, implementation, and customization.
• Ensure smooth integration of business applications with Finance, HR, Stores, Inventory, Logistics, and other departments.
• Monitor system availability, user access, data accuracy, and application performance.
• Manage Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, user accounts, email systems, and access permissions.
• Maintain network security, firewall configurations, antivirus solutions, and endpoint protection.
• Monitor server performance, data storage, backup schedules, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software, networking, CCTV, EPABX, and biometric system issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT service requests and maintain proper IT support records.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Implement IT security policies, data backup procedures, access controls, and cybersecurity measures.
• Protect company information against unauthorized access, data loss, malware, and other security threats.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity procedures.
• Manage IT vendors, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), software licenses, procurement, and IT budgets.
• Maintain IT asset registers, inventory records, system documentation, and software compliance.
• Lead and coordinate the IT team, allocate responsibilities, and monitor service delivery.
• Coordinate with senior management and all departments to understand IT requirements and implement suitable solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology and automation.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and uninterrupted IT services across the organization.

Required Skills & Competencies

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
