Purpose of the Job
2–5+ years in electrical maintenance and project execution within a manufacturing, industrial, or utility environment.
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Experience in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of transformers, motors, switchgear, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, PLCs, DG sets, control panels, and electrical distribution systems.
- Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ability to plan, execute, and monitor electrical projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable routing, panel wiring, and electrical layouts.
- Experience in electrical equipment selection, load calculations, cable sizing, and basic electrical system design.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, Permit-to-Work (PTW), LOTO, and other industrial safety practices.
- Experience in vendor coordination, contractor supervision, material planning, and project documentation.
- Ability to conduct RCA, prepare maintenance reports, and monitor equipment performance.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and CMMS/SAP is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
